Sofitel to expand its presence in Asia Pacific region
Hotel giant Accor is expanding its Asian Pacific portfolio with the signing of three new Sofitel branded properties.
The Sofitel hotels will open in Wellington, New Zealand, Bali, Indonesia and Shenyang, China by mid 2014.
Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach resort will be the first to launch in September 2013. The beachfront resort will be located 40 km from Bali's capital city, Denpasar and will feature 415 guestrooms including 17 private villas.
The hotel will house a So Spa offering a selection of treatments using French cosmetology. An infinity pool and So Fit fitness centre will also be on offer as well as three restrooms and five meeting rooms.
Meanwhile, Sofitel Shenyang Lido, which is located on Quingnian Street, is expected to launch in early 2014 featuring 590 guestrooms and suites. A spa will also be on offer as well as a fitness centre, swimming pool and squash courts.
Other facilities will include four restaurants, two bars, two ballrooms and five meeting rooms.
Sofitel Wellington is also set to launch in 2014 and will be located on Bolton Street, The hotel's facilities will include a fitness centre, indoor swimming pool and large conferencing areas.
