Soho Estates given green light for hotel
Soho Estates has received planning consent for a 27,000 sq ft, 40-bedroom hotel and restaurant on Dean Street, West London.
The hotel will be operated by Soho House, which is owned by restaurateur Richard Caring. The company also operates three private members club in London.
Planning associate Gerald Eve advised Soho Estates and Soho House on the planning of the site.
Kieron Hodgson, associate at Gerald Eve, said: "We worked hard to deliver a solid and viable commercial solution, which could secure the London term future of these important buildings.
"The hotel provides a sensitive blend of old and new to create a boutique establishment with a special feel of exclusivity.”
