Sole bid to operate Felixstowe's Spa Pavilion withdrawn
Spa Pavilion Associates, the group behind the only bid to take on the management of an arts venue in Felixstowe, has withdrawn its proposals ahead of a council meeting.
Suffolk Coastal District Council had been due to debate the sole submission on 24 July, but had already indicated it would be rejected after failing to present a "realistic case".
The local authority, which currently invests more than £250,000 a year into the Spa Pavilion, had embarked on a procurement process in order to safeguard the future of the venue.
