Spa Life UK to take place on 18-19 November at Center Parcs Woburn
The fifth annual Spa Life UK event will take place on 18-19 November at Center Parcs Woburn Forest, featuring a jam-packed schedule of talks from industry experts.
The event will comprise three main parts: the Conference; the Spa Life Forum; and the invitation-only CEO Summit, where the BBC’s Business guru Dr Paul Thomas will provide key insights into how to increase effectivity in the workplace without losing front-line staff.
There will be two keynote sessions during the event, including one from brand expert and visiting professor BJ Cunningham, who will talk about customer loyalty, discounting and how brands represent promises to consumers.
Linda Moir, who helmed the London 2012 Olympic Games delivery team, will also give a speech based on her vast experience from roles at Virgin and British Airways. She will explore how delegates can deliver exceptional performance and customer service.
Aldina Duarte-Ramos, global wellbeing director for Accor Hotels, will also make an appearance on stage to explain how she has developed the brand standards for the SoSPA across the global estate of Accor properties, and how she has achieved consistency through regular testing and online assessments.
Meanwhile, director of education at Spa Life Academy Michelle Hammond will deliver a presentation on how to avoid being overtaken by competitors.
The Spa Life Forum is an opportunity for buyers and suppliers to do business via a series of one-to-one meetings. Organisers of the event expect more than 800 meetings to be scheduled this year.
The Good Spa Awards will also be incorporated into this year’s event, during a Gala dinner on Tuesday 18 November. This will be the inaugural live ceremony and the sixth annual awards.
In total, more than 250 guests are expected to attend the first day of the event, while 400 delegates will be at the Conference on day two.
