Spa to bring Turkish Delight to London

An innovative, new £1.3m (US$2.5m, 1.98m euro) spa is due to open this March in east London, UK.

A joint venture between Tower Hamlets Council and Greenwich Leisure (GLL), Spa London is set to ‘revolutionise the day spa market’ as one of the UK’s first public sector spas, designed to make the day spa concept as accessible as possible for a whole new market.

Situated within Tower Hamlets’ landmark Victorian baths, Spa London will include four treatment rooms, thermal experiences and a full range of therapies.

The spa was designed by Mark Cotton of Architecture & Design Services and will be headed up by Alex Smith, who was previously spa manager at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews, Scotland.
