Speakers announced for Vision XS Experience Conference
The key speakers for the Vision XS Experience Conference 2007 have been unveiled and include operators of all types of attraction, from the largest theme parks to visitor attractions all over the world.
Taking place at The Oxford Centre in Oxford, England, on Wednesday 4 July, speakers will include be Steve Cook, CEO of Gold Reef City in South Africa; Bob O’Connor, director of Port Lympne Zoo, UK; Paul Sharp, MD of Kids Play, UK; Angela Wright, MD of Crealy Great Adventure Parks; Andrew Wolfe, owner of Willows Adventure Farm; and Sean Gaffaney, head of gallery and new developments at the Museum of Science and Industry.
Additionally, in a ‘Mastermind’-style session on professional services, delegates will be able to put questions to experts on design, planning, insurance and funding, including Ray Hole (RH Architects), Barry Davies (Davies and Co. Chartered Surveyors), Stef Puttnam (Jardine Lloyd Thompson) and Phil Barker (Lloyds TSB Agriculture).
A new ideas review, looking at new products for the attractions market, will also be among the day’s sessions, while in addition to this delegates will be able to learn how Vision’s X-Mod experience modelling software can be put to use in their own attractions.
The conference will be followed by a networking opportunity of ‘Punting and Pimms’ on the nearby River Cherwell followed by an informal dinner at Cherwell Boathouse and evening entertainment.
