Sportech profits rise
Investment in technology and restructuring has help boost profits for Sportech. The company's last year's mid-term £400,000 loss has turned into a pre-tax profit of £400,000. Sales rose 6 per cent to £96.7m.
Colin McGee, managing director, said Sportech's strategy is to provide home-based gaming opportunities to the widest audiences available: 'We look forward to launching new innovative gaming products on television.' The gaming partnership with ITV is expected to launch early next year. Details: www.sportech-plc.co.uk
