Sports Club considering offer
The Sports Club Company is considering an offer by Millennium Development Partners to purchase all or part of the business.
Millennium Development Partners has offered to either purchase some of The Sports Club Company’s east coast health clubs and its Sports Club/LA-San Francisco club for $80m (£43m, 60m euros), or to acquire the entire company through a merger at a price of $2 (£1, 1.5 euros) per share of the company’s common stock.
The Sports Club Company owns and operates luxury fitness clubs throughout the US under The Sports Club/LA brand.
