Sports tourism strategy for Barbados
Elms Partnership, the Wrexham-based international sports and leisure consulting firm, has been appointed to undertake the design of a new sports tourism strategy for Barbados.
The group has been recruited by the Commonwealth Secretariat and the Barbados Ministry of Tourism to carry out the eight-month study, which will involve an assessment phase.
Elms Partnership will assess the current strengths and weaknesses of the current market in Barbados, before outlining areas of actions needed to improve the sports tourism offer.
Andy Preece, director of Elms Partnership, said: "The development of this long term strategy will help Barbados to maximise its potential."
