SportsArt signs agreement with US health chain
SportsArt Inc has signed an agreement with Lucille Roberts Health Club to become a major cardiovascular equipment supplier for the New York-based chain.
The three-year agreement is worth in excess of US$1.1m and SportsArt will be used in all clubs. The company also plans to utilise the equipment in their newly launched franchise concept, Lucille Roberts Fitness Express.
Products to be supplied will include SportsArt Fitness 6310 treadmills, E8300 elliptical machines and C5150 recumbent bicycles.
One of the largest women's health club chains, the Lucille Roberts organisation has over 50 health clubs in the north eastern states of America, with more than 450 employees.
