Spring opening for City Stars
A $750m retail and leisure complex will soon be completed in Cairo, Egypt.
The mixed use development will feature 480 outlets, including a 20-screen multiplex cinema, bowling centre, indoor roller coaster, a fully-themed shopping mall and a 3,000 square metre aqua spa.
Bangkok based Concept Design International, is responsible for the construction and fit-out of a 6,000 square metre family and entertainment centre and 2,000 square metre food and entertainment zone.
At 780,000 square metres, City Stars will be the largest retail and leisure complex in the Middle East and hopes to attract visitors to the city. It is located 15 minutes from Cairo international airport, and five minutes from the city's main conference centre.
As well as entertainment and shopping facilities, City Stars will also comprise a 533 room Inter-Continental Hotel and 330 room Holiday Inn.
