The Springboard Awards for Excellence, which recognise and reward excellence in promoting careers; attracting people to the industry; and best employment practice in the hospitality, leisure and travel and tourism industries have now launched.

The awards, which are now an annual event, are open to companies and individuals who are proactive, innovative and clear in their aim to attract and retain the highest calibre of staff and if you have a scheme or incentive that has worked well, particularly in staff retention, they want to hear about it.

Altogether, there are 15 different awards categories.

The Retention Award and The Recruitment Award are a key focus. Perhaps you are fantastic at retaining your staff? Maybe you can demonstrate great results at staff retention? Perhaps your company was innovative at tackling labour turnover in your business? Whatever your success story, The Retention Award, part of The Springboard Awards for Excellence is something you should be entering.

Perhaps it is your recruitment initiatives that have been a real success? Recruitment of top-class staff is after all an ongoing issue within the hospitality industry. Continued growth and the improvement of service standards within the sector demands enormous commitment from companies and requires the need to be inventive and proactive to attract and retain the best recruits to the job. If you are innovative and creative in your approach to staff recruitment then you too should be entering The Recruitment Award, part of The Springboard Awards for Excellence.

To enter the awards and for more information on the other awards categories now open then please visit: www.springboard.org,uk/awards or simply download the brochure here. The BHA wishes all entrants the best of luck!
