Springboard to host disability conference
Springboard Charitable Trust, in association with I-work EQUAL is to host an Employers’ Conference on Disability on 3 November.
The conference is designed to offer a guide on the recruitment and retention of disabled people within the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industries.
It will cover the disability discrimination act and how to take action during this European Year for Disabled People.
Keynote speakers will include Maria Eagle MP, parliamentary under secretary of state, department of Work an pensions; Michael Caines, Michelin-starred chef and co-director of Gidleigh House Hotel, Devon and Stephen Springer MBE, general manager of Grooms Holidays.
