St ALi unveils first UK site in London
Melbourne, Australia-based St ALi has announced the launch of a new coffee bar, roastery and restaurant in London.
St ALi has teamed up with Long Black Ltd to open the 2,522sq ft (234.3sq m) Clerkenwell Road property, which is is housed in a former Victorian warehouse. Tim Williams, the group's director of coffee, is also working on the development of a new Barista Certification Programme to be run by head barista Baptiste Kreyder.
The group is planning to roll out 25 of its Sensory Labs concept by 2016, with the first due to open in Wigmore Street in June. St ALi Sensory Labs will be a high-end retail concession providing a "sensory coffee experience".
