St Ives leisure centre introduces bowling alley
A St Ives leisure centre has added a tenpin bowling alley to its facilities as part of a £4.2m upgrade.
The alley at One Leisure includes bespoke soft seating, pre-programmed screens, electronic bumpers and a lane service for drinks and food.
Huntingdonshire District Council executive leader Jason Ablewhite said: “This is a great example of a shift in local government thinking when it comes to ‘spending to save schemes’ and a council that is innovative and positive in its approach to supporting healthier lifestyles.”
