Stafford leisure centre nears completion
The Stafford Leisure Centre on Lammascote Road is on schedule to open to the public by June.
Local architects Barnett Ratcliffe Partnership has designed building, which is now really coming to life with Alfred McAlpine undertaking the building work.
Facilities at the centre include a 25m, eight-lane pool, together with a teaching pool with a moveable floor.
There will also be two squash courts, a crèche, beauty rooms and refreshment facilities.
Stafford Borough Council's head of leisure, Adam Hill, said: “The new centre will be a real jewel in the crown and offer the community a purpose-built, top-quality leisure centre with excellent facilities.”
