'Stalled' Ilfracombe schemes move forward
North Devon Council (NDC) has announced that the 'stalled' redevelopment of a number of leisure sites in Ilfracombe has started to move forward.
Members of the Ilfracombe Stalled Sites Group heard how repairs have started and plans lodged for the transformation of the former Berkeley Hotel into residential units. Redevelopment work is also underway on the former Cliff Hydro Hotel, while pub chain JD Wetherspoon has been invited to discuss ways to revamp the Collingwood Hotel property.
