Starwood completes sale of hotels
Hotel and leisure company, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, has completed the sale of 12 non-strategic domestic hotels for approximately $300m.
The group announced in June that the sale – to a group of investors including Olympus Real Estate Partners, Rockwood Capital, Prudential Real Estate Investors and HEI Hospitality – would include eight Sheratons but this has been reduced to six.
Starwood also expects the completion of the sale of a further six non-strategic domestic hotels to take place later this year. Details: www.starwood.com
