Steak house operator opens second site
Goodman, which currently operates a New York-style grill and stakehouse in London's Mayfair, is to launch a second site in the City of London.
Goodman City, located on Old Jewry, boasts a glass-walled, dry-ageing room, believed to be the first of its kind in the capital. The room will enable diners to view beef maturing in a temperature-controlled environment.
Also incorporated is the theatre of an open kitchen and a larger bar area, a private dining room.
John Cadieux has been named executive chef and Olly Bird, formerly of Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's has been appointed head chef.
