This year, Asiafit 2002 International Convention, Business Summit and Trade Fair has gone on the road to the Chinese capital and is taking place at the World Trade Centre, Beijing from 15-17 November.

The event, now in its sixth year, has moved to Beijing in recognition of the growth of the emerging health and fitness market in China.

The trade fair will cover 5,500sq m with exhibitors from all over the world including Australia, America, Germany Taiwan, Korea and Hong Kong showcasing new products.

Running parallel to the trade fair, the Asiafit 2002 convention will feature 110 seminars, workshops and business sessions on everything from Kardio Kombat and resistance training to spa development.

Keynote speakers at the forum will include Dr Mike Chaet, Mark Davis and Bryan Dugger who will cover in-depth analysis of club management and Xen Angelides who will focus on operational management.

The Asiafit Awards will also take place at the event, with awards for best small, medium and large club of the year.
