Stocken to chair NHM trustees
Oliver Stocken has been chosen as the new chair of the Trustees of the Natural History Museum in London, UK.
Stocken, who has been a trustee since February 1999, will take over as chair on 1 January from Professor Sir Keith O’Nions, and will hold the position for four years.
During his tenure, he will oversee the development and opening of phase two of the Natural History Museum’s Darwin Centre in 2008.
Stocken is also a council member and treasurer of The Royal College of Art, treasurer of the MCC, and a trustee of the River and Rowing Museum in Henley-on-Thames.
