Strategic Leisure wins north west contracts
Strategic Leisure has been appointed to work on three initiatives in the north west of England.
The first contract will see the consultancy developing a sport and physical activity strategy for Bradford District Council. The priorities identified by the council include facilitating increased participation in physical activity and sport in the district.
Strategic will also work with the University of York to develop a sports strategy for the future provision of sports facilities on its proposed new campus.
The company is also working with Leeds City Council to develop a multi-sports games area, an Astroturf pitch and a new sailing centre at separate sites across the city.
Strategic Leisure recently announced it had completed a Best Value Management Options Analysis for leisure centres in the London Borough of Havering.
The company will now manage the council’s procurement process to find a partner to run the sports facilities. Details: strategicleisure.co.uk
