World renowned strength coach Charles R Poliquin – who is known for coaching Olympic and World Champion medallists in 18 different sports – is to host a specialised training seminar in the UK this spring.

Poliquin will be presenting ‘The Nuts and Bolts of Exercise Biomechanics’ and ‘Making Sense of Nutrition for Sports Performance’ to personal trainers, coaches, therapists and fitness professionals from 6-7 April at The Midland Hotel in Manchester.

Organised by LSF-PT Events, the two-day seminar aims to build on the ‘Cutting Edge Training Methodology’ event it held with Poliquin in 2015, which drew 300 fitness professionals from across the UK and Europe.

LSF-PT Events – the events division of LSF-PT (Lifestyle Fitness gyms’ PT arm) – expects more than 500 attendees for the latest seminar and is eager to draw participation from across the industry.

Kate Brooker, LSF-PT events director, said: “We want as many personal trainers as possible to benefit from the wealth of knowledge that is going to be shared over these two days from the Strength Sensei, aka Charles R Poliquin.”
