Study set up to map cultural openings in Leeds
The Cultural Facilities Task Group (CFTG) has teamed up with consultants PMP to undertake a comprehensive feasibility study into the development of new cultural facilities for Leeds – such as a concert hall, arena or a conference center.
Part of the Leeds Initiative’s Cultural Partnership (LCP), CFTG was set up in 2003 to address the issue of new cultural facilities in the city.
Councillor John Proctor, chair of LCP, said: “This study is a key step forward in achieving one of our major priorities for the city and something which people have been calling for.”
