Success at new sports maintenance company
Replay, a new synthetic sports surface maintenance company is already being hailed as a success by clients and within the sector.
The new business – a separate wholly owned subsidiary of the Charles Lawrence group – offers a comprehensive service in all areas of synthetic sports surface maintenance, from the patented Rejuvenation™ process to regular brushing and repairs, pressure cleaning and safety checks.
Rejuvenation™ can restore contaminated and compacted sand-filled artificial grass surfaces to their original appearance and performance characteristics, using special machines to replace the top layer of sand and restore the pile to vertical.
Other processes used by the company include Regeneration™ – applied to long-pile football surfaces and where the infill can be extracted to any chosen depth and the pile untangled and left ready to receive replacement infill – and Rerun™, a combination of high-pressure washing and vacuum extraction.
The company is headed by Tony Hession and began trading at the beginning of the year. He is currently the chair of the Ancilliary Contracts Division and a director of the Sports and Play Construction Division (SAPCA).
