Six Senses Kitzbühel, alpine resort and residences, is to partner exclusively with Porsche to supply a Porsche Taycan – Porsche’s first electric sports car – to everyone who purchases a top of the line chalet.

The resort, owned and developed by Walther Staininger is scheduled to open in December 2021 and will include a Six Senses hotel with extensive spa and wellness offerings, apartments and chalet residences.

The new property has been planned with sustainability at its core, using local and organic materials in construction, locally-sourced home-grown ingredients at the property’s restaurants and providing an on-site farmers market for guests.

Six Senses’ focus on sustainability has influenced its decision to partner with Porsche. Neil Jacobs, CEO of Six Senses, says the partnership is a 'perfect fit' for the two companies.

Six Senses Kitzbühel is located in the Austrian Hohe Tauern National Park and has been designed by Swedish architect Martin Brudnizki.

Brudnizki’s designs for the resort are inspired by the location’s natural beauty and regional traditions. He’s endeavoured to bring the outside in to create a sense of nature within the living spaces and has focused on creating a village feel.

Six Senses Kitzbühel will be an outdoor activities destination, offering downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and sledding in the winter, as well as hiking, cycling and swimming during the summer.

The resort’s spa will have indoor and outdoor pools, a holistic anti-ageing centre, a children’s spa and a bio-hack lab.

biohacking is a form of machine-based intervention into wellbeing using equipment and technology, such as infrared muscle treatments and cryotherapy.

Additionally, the Austrian property will have four restaurant concepts – The Tavern, The Kitchen, The Cabin Bar and The Pantry. Six Senses will also offer alternative dining experiences, where residents can enjoy dinner served in tree pods and igloos.

The hotel will have 77 rooms and suites, while the 15 chalets and 45 apartments will be available to be purchased with prices ranging from €1.5 million to €5.5 million (£1,324,013 to £4,854,328, $1,646,167 to $6,035,595).
