Suunto unveils Vector with heart rate monitor
Suunto has launched the Vector HR, a watch for outdoor enthusiasts that contains a heart rate monitor as well as a compass, barometer and altimeter.
The watch also includes zone alarms to inform the wearer when their heart rate is climbing too quickly or when the climber isn't working out as much as they could.
A comfort belt comes supplied as standard, which is adjustable to help minimise the risk of friction and abrasions for the wearer.
The Vector HR's altimeter tracks altitude up to 9,000m / 29,500ft, making it suitable for every mountain, including Everest.
