Swansea City FC mourns club president
Swansea City Football Club (SCFC) has announced the death of club president and historian Professor David Farmer at the age of 78.
Farmer was named as a non-executive director at the npower Championship club in August 1997, with responsibility for the youth development structure. Despite stepping down as a director in 2001, he became SCFC president while retaining links with the youth scheme.
SCFC chair Huw Jenkins said: "There was nothing he didn't know about the club."
