Australia’s Sydney Aquarium has appointed MG Media Communications to handle its public relations.

Marketing manager Thomas Davey said MG Media would be responsible for promoting the aquarium’s many activities to news, travel and specialist media.

One of the largest aquariums in the world, Sydney Aquarium is home to more than 12,000 aquatic animals from more than 650 different Australian species. The attraction draws more than 1.2 million visitors a year through its doors.

The aquarium is part of Sydney Attractions Group, which also owns and operates the adjacent Sydney Wildlife World, as well as Sydney Tower and Oztrek and Sydney Skywalk.
