Symonds leads consultation into community regeneration
Symonds Sport & Leisure has been surveying under-used buildings and empty land in Islington to determine their suitability to host community facilities including health, education, sport and leisure projects.
The research was commissioned by EC1 New Deal for Communities, a government initiative which aims to help deprived areas by providing grants for community-based partnerships.
Symonds will identify funding opportunities and assess 30 unused buildings in London’s Clerkenwell area.
