TIA and LTA sign new partnership agreement
The Tennis Industry Association (TIA) has confirmed it has signed a partnership agreement with the national governing body for British tennis, the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).
TIA represents a number of businesses - from major brands to service companies - within the UK tennis industry, which currently has a turnover of more than £1.3bn a year.
The new partnership agreement will see TIA's administrative offices relocate to the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, while a full-time executive director will also be appointed to the organisation.
LTA chief executive Roger Draper said: "The LTA's goal is to grow and sustain British tennis, and this new partnership will help us in our shared objective, particularly around encouraging more people to play tennis."
