Taj unveils Jiva Spa brand rollout
India-based hospitality company Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces is planning to launch six new spas in India and one in South Africa during the course of 2010.
The Jiva Spa concept focuses on Asian and Indian traditional wellness philosophies. Rooted in ancient Indian healing knowledge, Jiva Spas are holistic in ethos and offer a range of signature therapies, including signature Taj treatments and ayurveda.
Jiva Spas will launch at the Taj Cape Town South Africa and the Falaknuma Palace hotel in Hyderabad. The remaining spas will open in Vivanta by Taj hotels in Maderki in Coorg; Yeshwantpur in Bangalore; Bekal in Kerala and Shahadara and Dwarka, both in Delhi.
The Indian Hotels Company Limited and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces. In total, the company comprises more than 60 hotels in 45 locations across India with an additional 15 hotels in Malaysia, the UK, the US, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Africa, the Middle East and Australia.
