Former Soma Bay, Egypt area spa director Tanya Talreja has launched a new spa company, GSD Spa and Wellness Development Corporation.

The consultancy has offices in Manila and Singapore, and offers services for luxury destination spas, wellness centres, medical spas, day spas beauty salons and gyms, with a special focus on relaunching existing properties.

“We come in and reboot the entire process as a whole, and produce effective results in sales increases and a flowing operation,” said Talreja. “We have a successful business model that we implement and customise towards each company’s needs.”

GSD will also offer conceptualisation, pre-opening services, business expansion consulting, menu innovation, amenities formation, on-site management, 3D design, training and seminars and recruitment.

“We have the ability to welcome a client’s ideas, and not only paint the resulted picture, but to truly comprehend and develop each requirement in a quality approach,” said Talreja. “It is not the size of the project or the budget; we take in any small or large-scale luxury business and help them achieve their goal while staying cost-effective.”

Talreja has worked in the spa industry for the past ten years, most recently as area spa director for Raison d’Etre at Cascades Spa & Thalasso at Somabay, Egypt.
