Target Fitness+ Hazel Grove has been awarded Excellent status following its recent Quest assessment.

Its 85 per cent score places the centre as 11th best in the country and in the top 2 per cent.

Jon Baker, general manager, said: "This is a fantastic achievement for the centre and is testimony to the shared vision that all staff have here.

"We want to continuously provide the best service and fitness product for all who choose to exercise at the centre and we are keen that customers enjoy every single visit."

Malcolm McPhail, Chief Executive at Stockport Sports Trust, which operates the facility, said: "We are very proud of the score Target Fitness+ Hazel Grove has received, as the company ethos of continuous improvement and hard work has been recognised and rewarded.
