Tasca accepts £99.7m bid by Tragus
Spanish tapas bar operator La Tasca has accepted a revised £99.7m takeover bid by the Tragus Group.
Private-equity leisure operator Tragus, owned by the Blackstone Group, upped their offer from 185p to 192p per share, following a £98.6m rival bid by property entrepreneur Robert Tchenguiz on 29 March.
The Bolton-based AIM-listed Tasca group operates 58 UK and four US restaurants under the La Tasca, La Viña and Sam & Maxie’s brands. Details: www.latascagroupplc.co.uk
