Federal Hotels & Resorts of Tasmania has entered into an agreement with international hotel group, Flag Choice Hotels.

The long-term deal will see Federal’s hotels and resorts aligned to Flag Choice’s Comfort Inn, Clarion and Quality brands.

Under the new agreement, Wrest Point tower in Hobart, the Country Club Resort in Launceston and the planned Hazards at Freycinet Resort, will join the Clarion brand.

Elsewhere, Wrest Point Waters Edge, the Strahan Village and the Country Club Villas will become Quality properties and the Wrest Point and Strahan Motor Inns will link up with the Comfort Inn brand.

Flag Choice, with more than 330 hotels across the Asia Pacific region, is a subdiary of Choice Hotels International, which has over 5000 properties open or under development in 46 countries. Details: www.flagchoice.com
