Ten new Four Points hotels to open before year end
Starwood brand, Four Points by Sheraton is to open ten new hotels across the world before the end of the year, with properties scheduled for cities in six countries on three continents.
September saw new Four Points hotels open in Lagos, Nigeria (222 rooms) and Galveston, Texas, US (118), while a Tucson, Arizona, US, Four Points (150) will open in October. In November, the brand will inaugurate properties in Tripoli, Libya (205 rooms), Bangkok, Thailand (268), and Tai'an, China (311). A further four hotels will debut in December - Pune and Visakhapatnam, both in India and offering 215 and 122 rooms respectively, and Houston, Texas, and Memphis, Tennessee, both in the US, with 79 and 125.
So far this year, Four Points by Sheraton has opened three new properties in Canada, debuting hotels in Niagara Falls (265 rooms), Calgary (159) and Saskatoon (119). Now with 23 hotels across the country, the brand is Starwood's largest in the Canadian market.
