Terminal Four hotel
Planning permission has been given for a £75m hotel near Heathrow's Terminal Four from developer, Bondcare Heathrow.
The site had been redesigned by Reardon Smith Architects, after the first hotel scheme were deemed insufficiently attractive to potential operators. The new design increased the number of bedrooms by 25 per cent and has created the largest single function room in the Heathrow vicinity. Conference and meeting facilities are expected to prove a big draw for a number of blue chip companies located in the nearby Bedfont Lakes Business Park. The main entrance to the five-storey hotel has also been relocated to face a landscaped area of the site.
Talks are currently underway with a number of interested operators and an announcement is expected shortly. Insignia Richard Ellis is marketing the 408-room hotel and construction work is likely to start in the near future. Details: +44 (0)20 8374 4476/6320 or [email protected]
