Terranea spa resort launches in California
The US$450m (320.7m euro, £272m) Terranea resort and spa in Rancho Palos Verdes, US, has opened.
Managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, the resort features a large 25,000sq ft (2,322sq m) spa.
The 24-treatment room spa was designed by the San Francisco-based firm BAMO, with architects Hill Glazier from Los Angeles and input from consultants Braham and Schultz.
Located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Terranea resort covers more than 102 acres (41-hectares) of coastline and has taken 10 years to create. Details: terranea.com
