Thai water slide collapse injures children
Twenty-eight children were injured at a Bangkok amusement park earlier this month when part of a waterslide collapsed.
Joints holding segments of the three-storey Super Spiral ride at Siam Park in the Thai capital collapsed at a height of around 2.5m. Seven of the riders, aged between 10 and 12, reportedly fell. Four were critically injured.
Last October, a 35-year-old woman died and five others were hurt when another ride at the park malfunctioned.
