Thames Path upgrade work completed
Work on the second stage of improvements to a 1.2km (0.7-mile) section of the Thames Path National Trail between Maidenhead and Cookham in Berkshire has been completed.
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) has undertaken the upgrade work, following consultation with the local Disabled Ramblers group. Natural England helped fund the project. RBWM lead member for highways and streetcare Colin Rayner said: "The work we have just completed will help to make the surface of the path safer and easier to use for serious walkers, leisurely ramblers and people with impaired mobility."
