Thatched roof carrousel opens in US zoo
Kansas-based amusement ride company, Chance Morgan, has recently unveiled its newest zoo carrousel model at Cincinnati Zoo.
The Safari Thatch Carrousel is a custom-themed 36ft ride, featuring detailed inner scenery resembling real bamboo, and two chariots, one of which is handicap accessible.
It carries thirty hand-painted animals including a camel, shark, mountain lion, ostrich, giraffe, seal, cheetah, gorilla and tiger as well as the rather less familiar Sumatran rhino. This is an endangered species and custom created especially for the zoo.
The carrousel does not require additional covering and customers can create their own unique rides by choosing from over 70 available Chance Morgan wildlife animals.
The Chance Morgan product line covers a full range of hypercoasters and family coasters, thrill rides, family rides and people movers.
