The ABC of KPIs
What are the key indicators of a successful spa operation? Do you know your SUR from your ATR and your REVPATH from your SREVPOR? It may sound like another language but implementing measurements into your business practice will make it a much more successful one.
Key advantages of measurement is that based on the results, you will be able to identify trends ‘of the day, the week and time of day’. It will enable you to develop a strategy to sell premium products during specific time slots of high demand or offer a promotion to appeal to clients during lower demand hours. You will also be able to see how you are performing versus your competitors, other facilities within your organisation and industry leaders.
So how do you implement your own KPIs?
Suki Kalirai, Chairman of the Spa Business Association, knows a thing or two about this subject having successfully developed the UK’s largest chain of independent salon spas under the Re-Aqua brand and leading the re-branding of these facilities under the Dove Spa brand.
Suki will be speaking at the UK Spa & Wellness Conference and will share with us what he believes are key performance metrics and how we should be measuring these and will provide example benchmarks from his extensive operational experience.
Register on line for the UK Spa & Wellness Conference, which takes place at Center Parcs, Elveden on Wednesday 9th November 2011 by visiting www.spaconference.co.uk or contact Mike on 08707 80 44 90 or e-mail [email protected].
