The G spa – part of the G Hotel in Galway, Ireland – has won the European Hotel Design Award in the category of Best Hotel Design for Spa, Health and Leisure Interiors.
The G spa is located on the upper two floors of the five-star Galway hotel and was designed around a Japanese theme by Douglas Wallace Architects and Interior Designers in consultation with ESPA International.
The awards were presented as part of Sleep06, the European Hotel Design Event, which took place in November in London. Other winners included the Loisum Spa Resort in Zell Am See for Best Hotel Architecture. Details: www.theghotel.ie
