A number of Planika's L-shaped ventless fireplaces have been specified for the Beacon Lofts condos in New Jersey, USA.

A transparent piece of furniture, the L-shape is available in dark oak or white, lacquered MDF that resembles the letter 'L', with an open fire hearth.

Also suitable for use in spas and hotels, the L-shape runs on a biofuel by the name of Fanola® fuel, which is said to emit only water vapour and CO₂ when burnt.

Meanwhile, double-sided Optiwhite® glass helps to both intensify the effect of the flame due to its transparent nature, while also acting as a barrier to stop the user from burning themselves.
