Aquaterra Leisure has entered into partnership with The Retention People in order to grow and ensure future success for Connect, its highly successful IT-based membership retention system.

Aquaterra will continue to sell and market Connect in the UK whilst The Retention People will begin developing, installing and supporting Connect from September 2010.

Marc Jones Head of Commercial Sales at Aquaterra commented: "This is fantastic news for Connect and its customers. Linking up with the market leader will provide our commercial customers with superb levels of service and results, whilst ensuring that we can grow Connect and guarantee its long-term success."

Alister Rollins CEO at The Retention People commented: "Connect has proven to be very successful over the past year and bringing Connect onto our platform will provide customers with a high level of support and regular product updates. Connect will be compatible with other TRP software products and can be seamlessly upgraded to our flagship retention system, TRP Interact. This partnership not only ensures Connect customers future proof their software investment, but also means they will have access to a broader choice of retention training and consultancy services."

Connect is a simple to use, innovative software tool developed with feedback from Aquaterra's own managers and fitness teams. It uses a single screen to monitor customer attendance and target interactions on the gym floor, measuring effectiveness and performance. Connect identified the key barriers affecting consistent gym use and from this devised a product that is now transforming service delivery on the gym floor.
