The Russian revolution
Bolshoi Body Fitness is set to become the latest craze to hit health and fitness clubs throughout the UK following the opening of its own studio in south London.
The regime is the brainchild of Gennya Goremykin, an ex principal dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet. It originates from the programme Bolshoi dancers follow before, during and after performances to strengthen and lengthen muscles, prevent and rehabilitate injuries and build a strong core.
Bolshoi Fitness is based on 400 years of body training focuses on posture, body shape and alignment rather than losing weight. It has already proved to be successful in London clubs such as the Third Space and the Harbour club and Goremykin is now offering individual personal training at his London club.
He is also looking for trainers interested in becoming licensed to teach the programme in a bid to roll out Bolshoi Fitness throughout the UK. Details: (0)20 7720 6012
