The UK Spa Association launches State of the Industry Annual Survey 2025
The UK Spa Association (UKSA) has launched its State of the Industry Annual Survey 2025, with in-depth questions about spa staff compensation, spa guest demographics, facilities and more.
The survey will run for three weeks and the results will be announced during a talk at the UKSA summer networking event on 30 July at Center Parcs Woburn Forest.
The research results will also be made available to all UKSA members and anyone who contributes to the survey.
This questionnaire follows last year’s Spa Industry Snapshot Survey and another Spa Salary Survey. You can read the details revealed in these previous studies here in Spa Business.
The new study forms part of an ongoing body of work by UKSA to support the spa industry through what it says are challenging times. The UKSA’s research will provide spa leaders with industry metrics to inform and enhance operational decisions.
Bobby Griffiths, UKSA general manager said: “We received such incredible feedback from our survey last year. Traditionally it has been quite a challenge to get any meaningful UK spa industry data on this scale but our survey last year bought home just how much this is needed and wanted by the industry.
“This year we have really extended the survey to include a more in-depth look into some of the areas that are pertinent in the industry right now,” added Griffiths. “These issues include staffing, salaries and benefits – since the recent National Insurance changes – and knock-on effects to training and investment. The results are going to be remarkably interesting this year.”
