Theatreshare to start trading
Theatreshare, the newly formed West End theatre production company headed by Stephen Fry, starts trading next month.
In an alliance with Really Useful Theatres (RUT), the company will develop and produce new plays and musicals and expects to generate returns from investing in successful runs, UK touring productions and film and tv.
It's board members include city fund manager Nicola Horlick and Andrew Lloyd Webber, while Dawn French, Richard Curtis and Maureen Lipman are among its patrons.
The company set out to raise £2m from private investors. In addition to their shareholdings in the company, investors will receive such benefits as free drinks and tickets, as well as tax breaks under the Enterprise Investment Scheme. Details: +44 (0)20 7494 5200
