Thorpe Park joins Regional Food Group
Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa near Leeds has become a hospitality member of the Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and Humber (RFGYH), which helps businesses source local produce through its Deliciouslyorkshire brand.
General manager of Thorpe Park, Gordon Jackson, said: “Using high-quality, locally supplied produce is central to our philosophy. We are wholly supported by local suppliers who enjoy seeing their produce served in an award-winning hotel.”
“New head chef Doug Hargreaves has a passion for great food and integrity for what he serves to guests – all qualities promoted by the RFGYH.”
The RFGYH is not-for-profit company established to promote and raise awareness of food and drink produced within the region. It is funded by Yorkshire Forward and Food from Britain.
